  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 shot espresso (or 1/3 cup strong coffee)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. 1In a small saucepan, whisk together milk, pumpkin purée, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. Cook over medium heat until hot (do not boil), stirring to combine.
  2. 2Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. 3Pour hot espresso into a mug, then add the spiced pumpkin milk mixture.
