Thinking Cup has been a favorite spot for Boston coffee lovers since it opened in 2010, just steps from the Boston Common. It was the first café in Downtown Boston to serve Stumptown Coffee and Third Wave Coffee exclusively, bringing some of the most celebrated beans in the country to the heart of the city. To keep every cup fresh and full of flavor, the café sources its coffee directly from Stumptown’s roasting facility in Brooklyn.
The team at Thinking Cup is focused on creating an exceptional experience through quality, service, and atmosphere. Guests are welcomed by knowledgeable baristas, freshly baked pastries, and a warm, comfortable setting that encourages people to settle in and enjoy their drink. The café also values community involvement and supports local organizations while continuing to introduce more people to the world of specialty coffee.

Super cool little coffee shop, would highly recommend. The coffee was delicious and there’s breakfast sandwich I got was really good too. Staff members were quick and friendly and the environment was perfect for a coffee shop. Overall I had a great experience, you should give this place a try when you’re in Boston!
I stopped in for a cup of hot chocolate today. Oh boy! was it good! It was rich, chocolaty, with the right amount of sweetness (meaning not overly sweet). And furthermore,the presentation was definitely pleasing to the eyes. I'd definitely go back for more!
