Haraz Coffee House

Haraz Coffee House feels different the second you walk in. The smell of cardamom, saffron, and freshly brewed coffee hits you all at once, and the space feels calm, elegant, and inviting without being stiff. It is the kind of place where people slow down, talk, and actually enjoy what is in front of them. The staff sets the tone right away with genuine warmth and patience, especially if you are new to Yemeni coffee or chai.

The drinks are what keep people coming back. The Adeni chai and karak chai are deeply spiced and comforting, the pistachio and Haraz lattes are rich without being heavy, and the espresso has a depth you do not find everywhere. Everything tastes like it was made with real ingredients and real care. Portions are generous, and nothing feels rushed. Even the mugs make you want to linger.

Stopped in on a recommendation of a close friend and am glad I did. The staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. The coffee and desserts are amazing! Now I understand why others call it the best coffee house in Detroit. 9/10
